The #PRCADigital Report 2016 launched last night in London at FleishmanHillard Fishburn to a room of PR and communications practitioners.
The findings weren't shocking by any means, but were a solid reminder and proof that the industry continues to move to a previously uncharted place.
With the use of Snapchat by in-house teams increasing by 14% in the past year, it is clear that companies are realizing its power. As well as this, 86% of agencies now offer blogger outreach/engagement and video-based content.
Here lies the main change - clients and customers are no longer satisfied with you talking at them, they want a conversation, they want a story, and they want you to spark their interest and curiosity in a way that suits them.
I personally look forward to seeing next year's findings.
